    One very happy camper
    I was recommended Meth Travel by a friend who had used this service on a previous holiday. I was glad I took the advice.
    Shihan was less of a ‘driver’ and more of a ‘well-informed travel buddy’. He drove me all over Sri Lanka for nearly three weeks. In that time he gave me the history of the area, spotted wildlife, gave me tips for local food and experiences and generally entertained me.
    In fact, not only did Shihan go trekking with me, there is no way I would have scrambled over some of those ridiculous rocks, or down some declines if he wasn’t there to help me. I would have missed some stunning views if it wasn’t him.
    Shihan also took the time to explain to all eight hotels I stayed in that I am vegan. For that alone, I am eternally grateful, as straying from my diet could have ruined my holiday. He also made sure I was safe before leaving me at a hotel and would have come to my rescue if i wasn’t. As a solo traveller, this was a godsend and justified hiring him in the first place.
    I genuinely appreciated Shihan’s humour and patience, not to mention his excellent driving.
    Would I recommend Shihan and Meth Travel to others? In a heartbeat.

    Dilan Bandara is amazing and he is very knowledgeable
    We had an amazing experience with Dilan as our guide on 8/11/2018.He was knowledgeable and articulate providing a local’s perspective of the history of Colombo and its prospects for the near future. I learned more about the various religious customs than i could have anticipated. He was warm and kind and we will always remember our day with him with great fondness.
