Our standard 03
Ethical Business
Our position on bribery, conflicts, fair dealing and responsible purchasing.
Read this alongside the related policies and raise questions early.
Bribery and improper payments
We do not offer, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments. A payment does not become acceptable because it is described as a commission, gift or local custom.
Honest selling
Prices, inclusions and exclusions should be clear before a traveller commits. We do not invent scarcity, reviews, licences or discounts. Material changes must be explained rather than buried in correspondence.
Conflicts of interest
People making decisions for Meth Travels must disclose relationships or financial interests that could influence their judgement. A disclosed conflict can often be managed; a hidden one cannot.
Fair competition
We compete through service and knowledge. We do not seek confidential competitor information improperly, coordinate prices with competitors or make claims we cannot support.
Records and payments
Business records should reflect what happened. Payments must have a legitimate purpose, an identifiable recipient and appropriate approval.
Suppliers
We consider safety, service, working practices and impact on communities—not price alone. Our supplier code sets out the baseline expected from businesses working on our trips.
