Supplier Code of Conduct

Baseline expectations for accommodation, transport, activity and service partners.

Read this alongside the related policies and raise questions early.

Suppliers working with Meth Travels are expected to meet applicable law and the standards below. They should also require similar conduct from subcontractors used for our guests.

People and work

  • No forced labour, trafficking or unlawful child labour.
  • No harassment, abuse or discrimination.
  • Lawful wages, working hours and employment records.
  • A safe workplace, suitable training and usable protective equipment where needed.

Guests and communities

Treat guests fairly, protect children and vulnerable people, and respect local communities, faiths and cultural sites. Do not substitute agreed services without notice or pressure guests into purchases.

Safety and environment

Maintain vehicles, premises and equipment. Hold required licences and insurance. Manage waste, water and wildlife interactions responsibly, and do not offer exploitative animal attractions.

Integrity and information

Do not offer bribes or hidden commissions. Protect traveller information and use it only to deliver the agreed service. Notify us promptly of a data incident, serious complaint, safety event or loss of a required licence.

Review

We may ask for relevant evidence, discuss corrective action or stop using a supplier where a serious issue is not addressed.
