How does a tailor-made Sri Lanka tour work?

You share your dates, interests, pace and budget; a Meth Travels consultant designs a day-by-day private route with hotels at your chosen level; you refine it together until it is right; then you travel with your own vehicle and driver or chauffeur guide.

Tailor-made means the trip is built around you, not the other way round. You might start from one of our tour packages and change a few days, or start from a blank page with the trip planner.

What you can choose

  • Where you go — the places you want, in an order that avoids backtracking.
  • How fast you travel — relaxed, balanced or see-more.
  • Where you stay — good-value, comfortable, boutique or premium, or a mix.
  • What you do — safaris, trains, hikes, cooking, beaches, temples.
  • Who guides you — a driver or a chauffeur guide, and specialist guides where needed.

What we will be honest about

Train seats, wildlife sightings and weather cannot be guaranteed. Some combinations need more time than you might expect. We will always tell you.

How it works

    Tell us the basics

    Dates (or a rough month), who is travelling, and what you enjoy. The planner takes about five minutes.

    We design a first route

    A consultant sketches a day-by-day plan with realistic driving times and suggested hotels at your level.

    Adjust it together

    Swap places, change the pace, add experiences. Most trips go through a few rounds by email or WhatsApp.

    Confirm and travel

    Once you are happy, we confirm the details in writing and stay reachable while you travel.
