A good honeymoon itinerary does less, better. This route keeps the number of hotel changes low, heads straight from the airport to the Cultural Triangle, and ends with two nights on the quiet deep-south coast.
Along the way there are a handful of memorable experiences — Sigiriya at dawn, the train through tea country, a sunset on the beach — and space to add private touches such as a candlelit dinner, a couples’ spa treatment or a hot-air balloon flight. Hotels are chosen for character and privacy at your preferred level.

Your driver meets you at the airport and you head directly to the Cultural Triangle, avoiding an extra hotel change. Settle in for a quiet evening.
