Travelling with children in Sri Lanka is a joy when the pace is right. This route keeps most drives to three hours or less, includes a pool at each stop, and fills the days with things children love: climbing a rock fortress, watching elephants, riding a train through the clouds, walking to a viewpoint above the tea, and building sandcastles.

We plan around your children’s ages — safari minimum ages, car seats where available, early dinners — and keep afternoons free for rest.
