Rafting, summits and trails
Nine active days: white-water rafting, a night climb of Adam’s Peak, Horton Plains, Ella Rock and trekking in the Knuckles Range.
For travellers who would rather hike than sightsee. This route strings together Sri Lanka’s best outdoor experiences in the hill country, using specialist local guides and operators.
The Adam’s Peak climb is timed for the pilgrimage season (roughly December to May); outside the season we substitute Horton Plains or another guided hike. Water levels, weather and permits are checked before each activity.
Negombo – Kitulgala – Adam’s Peak – Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Kandy – Knuckles
Airport welcome and a restful evening.

Recover on the scenic train ride to Ella.
Guided hike up Ella Rock.
A long scenic drive to Kandy; evening at leisure.
